About Arjanmar

Arjanmar H. Rebeta is a distinguished photographer, filmmaker, and advertising director.

 

In the realm of photography, he has been honored by the International Photography Awards – Philippines (IPA) as the "Event Photographer of the Year" (2017 & 2018), "Sports Photographer of the Year" (2017 & 2018), "Moving Image Photographer of the Year" (2018), and "Deeper Perspective Photographer of the Year" (2018). Notably, he emerged as a finalist for the 16th Annual Lucie Awards held in New York in 2018.

 

Additionally, Rebeta has demonstrated his diverse skills as an advertising director, overseeing projects for brands, corporate clients, and commercial ventures. He served as the director, writer, and cinematographer for the viral digital advertisement "Sanib" by Home Credit, which garnered over 20 million views on different platforms and posts.

 

Rebeta's artistic prowess and innovative contributions have earned him acclaim and numerous awards on both local and international fronts. These accomplishments led to his recognition as a recipient of the Harvest of Honors Award for Cinema presented by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the designation as Film Ambassador by the Film Development Council of the Philippines, and the Indie Bravo Award bestowed by Inquirer Philippines. His short film, "An Sadit na Planeta," received the NETPAC Jury Prize and Special Jury Prize at the 17th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival. Additionally, his films "Palabas (A Country in Moving Pictures)" and "My Father is an Astro-Not" received nominations for Best Short Film at the 42nd and 44th Gawad Urian (Filipino Film Critics) respectively.
